Bandai-Asahi National Park

Bandai-Asahi National Park is a nature lover's paradise and a must-visit destination for Japan tourism. The park boasts of sacred mountains steeped in history, dense beech forests, and volcanic lakes and ponds. The Goshikinuma, vividly colored ponds created after Mount Bandai erupted in 1888, are a unique feature of the park. There are no entry charges for Bandai-Asahi National Park. However, some areas within the park, such as the Goshikinuma ponds, require a small fee for parking.

The best time to visit Bandai-Asahi National Park is during the autumn season, which is from September to November. During this time, the park is ablaze with the colors of autumn foliage, making it a photographer's paradise. The weather is also mild, making it perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking and birdwatching. Spring is also an excellent time to visit the park when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
