Day 3 of 3 days in Singapore – The perfect itinerary to trail around with (final)

After two days of discovering the lion city, spend your last day exploring the Flora and Fauna of Singapore and also indulge in some luxurious shopping.

Day 3 – Botanical Gardens of Singapore, Orchard’s Road, Singapore Zoo

After a good night sleep and a quick morning breakfast, head to the Botanical Gardens of Singapore.

Botanical Gardens of Singapore – These are the country’s first UNESCO Heritage Site. Take a walk down this 60-acre property turned into a recreation garden you see today and after your fair share of walk, find your favourite spot to relax, loosen up and just laze around. Derive the pleasure of flora, at the National Orchids Garden, the most prominent side of the gardens that boasts the world’s largest orchid’s display with over 60000 plants and orchids. Settle by one of the restaurants or cafes at Jacob’s Ballas Children’s garden and satisfy your thirst and hunger after a morning in the sun.

Orchard’s Road – After a good taste of nature, walk down to the Orchard’s road just minutes from the Garden and be spoilt for choice with hotels, malls and restaurants at every turn. From luxury retail to world-class international cuisines, this famous Singapore shopping precinct is home to a wealth of experiences and offers ultimate lifestyle experience to tourists and locals alike. Start your retail journey at TANGS, one of Singapore’s oldest department store and then take a stroll down and make your way to ION Orchard, one of Singapore’s dazzling shopping complexes.

Singapore Zoo – After rounding off your shopping spree, head next to the Singapore Zoo, a 26-hectare award-winning wildlife park, featuring 11 zones, each taking you through some of the most distinguishing global wildlife habitats in the world. Watch endlessly in amazement as you see animals roaming freely in their natural habitats. Take a walk down the wild side and to get up close with White Tigers, Pygmy hippos and even naked mole rats. Also catch mischievous California sea lion showing off grace and agility in his movement during the Splash Safari Show. Say hello to the Singapore Zoo’s iconic primates at the orangutan exhibit and enjoy fun activities such as feeding and petting goats or go on a pony ride at Rainforest Kidzworld.

After an exciting wildlife experience, head back to your hotel, enjoy a good dinner and hit the sack and recharge your batteries.
