These lakes are the three crater lakes with each showing a different colour in between the mountains. Lakes are Red, blue and green in colour. The different colours are due to the different gasses bubbling away from the surface is what many say. Hike through the volcanic mountains to get a closer view of the lakes and its serene beauty. When you go to Komodo Island, the island steals all the spotlight and binds the tourists there itself. But a short journey from there is the Padar island which is also worth a visit. The biggest attractions of Padar Islands are the colourful beaches present there. There are also 3 separate areas in the Island which are of black, white and pink colours respectively. There are a variety of places where we can go around and hike. There are several trails that are there for the purpose of hiking. This island is very easily accessible from the neighbouring Labuan Bajo. Plan accordingly to go ahead and cross by the morning time hike during the cooler part of the day. This is because you can plan accordingly and come back down for an afternoon dive at the beaches. Do not miss out on this experience.

4. Dive at Komodo National Park

One of the biggest highlights of the Komodo national park is the spotting of the World’s largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon. But not many people know that the national park also has one of the best views for snorkelling and scuba diving. This sea is home to the beautiful Manta rays and many other species of fishes. But one drawback with this is that the currents at this sea are very strong and often changeable, making it hard sometimes to snorkel or even dive. So do note that this spot can be visited and experienced by trained divers and professional swimmers only. This will be one hell of an experience for you when you visit this diving space and is also one of the best tourist attractions in Flores.

These are accompanied by rhythmic drum beats and don’t worry, there will be no violent attacks on anyone as it will not be a serious fight between the 2 men. It is just a Ceremonial spectacle. These dances do not happen at a set schedule and it only happens in the villages around. It will be better if you could hire a local guide to help you out in seeing this unique ceremonial dance.
