One will always want to visit Swiss at least once in their life. This is because of its locations and the world-famous production of chocolates. But what many do not know is that it also has its eyes on the famous arts and is also unique in presenting them. One of such places to feast your eyes on is the Chillon Castle in Swiss. Chillon Castle is an Island Castle which is situated in the eastern end of the lake on the shore between Villeneuve and Montreux. People should keep Chillon Castle on their checklist while visiting the great land of Swiss.

The Chillon Castle will be open all around the year.

April to September
from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (last entry at 6:00 p.m.)

October to March
from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last entry at 5:00 p.m.)

The Chillon Castle will be closing 1 hour after the closure of the ticket offices for even the last visitors to enjoy the pleasant views of the castle and from the castle.

Recommended times of visit:

  • In the morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Midday from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
  • In the afternoon from 3.45 p.m.
