5. France

The French President Emmanuel Macron on 12th July 2021 emphasised the importance of vaccines and put forth improved measures to enhance tourism with safety. According to the measures, tourists are allowed to hit their favourite destinations, cinemas, bars, restaurants, cafes, transportation hubs and hospitals with the help of a health pass in effect from August 1, 2021. A health pass bears the history of either you vaccinated, recovered from the virus recently or a negative PCR test result. The quarantine procedures are not in place and hence France is one of the European countries open for tourism from India without quarantine. Like many countries around the world, the Russian government requires all travellers to submit an RT-PCR test. This test needs to be taken three days prior to your arrival in Russia.
