History denotes that it was the then Prince of Bundi – Dehra Deh that built the lake, dating back to the mid 14th century. One of the most recent built structures in the city of Kota, remains the ‘Seven Wonders Park,’ owing to be a resemblance of the actual seven wonders of the world. The park itself is found situated along the banks of the Kishore Sagar. History denotes that the Jag Mandir Palace was a frequent destination for the royals of Kota during that time, to relax and recoup after a long tiring week. The temple was built around 1740 by the then Queen of Kota. This palace is also the region where the famous Hindi movie – Badrinath Ki Dulhania was shot. The beauty of the palace during the nights is stunning and out of this world, with the lights sparking up the entire palace.
