The combination of glorious golf courses, excellent accommodations, and amazing sunshine are all the ingredients for a once-in-a-lifetime golf tour. Even if you’re new to golf, there are a few courses you may try out.

Time to Visit

The island has a typical tropical environment with mild temperatures all year. The temperature drops from scorching to mild even in the winter, from May to October. The days are hot and humid during the summer, from November to April. We don’t advocate visiting Mauritius during the wet cyclone season, which runs from January to March, and we advise staying away from the east coast in July and August when the wind is fiercest.

The wettest months (December to April) have the most rain, therefore we recommend May and September to November for the finest combination of clear skies and pleasant weather, though nothing can be guaranteed. Although the west coast is drier, the majority of golf courses are located in the south and east of the island.
