The restaurant began decades ago as one of the Maldives’ first gelaterias before spreading to two floors. The expansive top floor overlooks the street and a mosque and is shaded by a massive tree that reaches up through the property’s centre. All-day breakfasts, pasta, burgers, soups, salads, sandwiches, curries, noodles, and grills are available. Gelato, of course, is still available, and it makes an excellent dessert. Please keep in mind that alcohol is not allowed in Male. However, the restaurant serves outstanding coffee and organic fruit juices.
