Thailand Extends Free Visa on Arrival for Indians till October

Earlier on November 15, 2018 Thailand announced a visa scheme that allowed travellers from over 20 nationalities to travel to Thailand with a waiver of 2,000 Baht. The scheme which was initially proposed to run till Jan 13, 2019 was extended till April 30. Now, the option is again extended to the end of October. Which means the waiver is still up for grabs and for Indians heading to Thailand, the visa is entirely free till October!

Why?

Visa on arrival to Thailand usually costs 2,000 Baht for Indians and with a waiver of the same amount, the visa practically comes for free.
