Colour your winters bright yellow when you are in the province of Lopburi, just a 2.5 hour drive from Bangkok. Famous for its sunflowers that are in full bloom between November and February, watch the sunflower fields on your bike or by taking a ride on the tractor. Another interesting way to sight the sunflowers is by boarding a special train from Hua Lamphong station.

Our tip: Leave early in the morning from Bangkok to be met with sights of sunflowers rising to face the sun.

Buy: Watch the markets flood with souvenirs and snacks related to sunflowers, including t-shirts, umbrellas and whatnot.
