Weather in Vagamon

The weather ranges within 10 – 25 degrees celsius and it is pleasant throughout the year. The temperature drops less the 10 degrees during winter (November – March), which makes it an ideal time to experience the real beauty of Vagamon. Even during summer (April – June) temperature normally does not rise above 25-degree celsius.

How to Reach Vagamon

By Air

The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport which is located around 110 km away from Vagamon. Cochin airport is the biggest in Kerala and from here you can easily find taxis, private cabs or local transport.

By Rail

Though the closest railway station is Kuttikkanam which is about 25 km from Vagamon. Kottayam is the major railway station, which is 70 km away from Vagamon, is also well connected and has regular trains from major South Indian cities.

By Road

Mode of transport does not matter, the road to Vagamon is one scenic drive. You can see a lot of bikers on this route and if you are travelling in a bus make sure to get the window seat to fall in love with the views. Vagamon is easily accessible from both Kochi and Kottayam and has regular bus services as well.

Thangal Para

Thangal Para is primarily a famous holy pilgrimage site, but it offers some of the best views in all of Vagamon. It is believed that centuries back, a Sufi saint used to live here, you can even see the tomb of the departed Saint.
