Om beach got its name from its geographical appearance and hence has a spiritual significance associated with it. You can behold the joining of two semi-crescent sections of land here, and this is why and how the beach derived its present name. Watching the sunrise and sunset here is surreal. The glimpse of Lord Shiva idol which was carved out of stone 1500 years ago bestows his blessings on anyone who visits this temple.
