Europe In Winter

December to February are the winter months in Europe (14 C to 4 C). But, even though it might be cold, you can still do loads of fun things, like skiing. 

However, you should know that most of the attractions are closed in winter.

Best places to visit in winter: Zermatt (Switzerland), Bregenzerwald (Austria), Val Thorens (France), and Abisko (Sweden).

What to do: White Christmas of Europe with busy and joyous Christmas markets that sprout throughout the continent, the famous Venice Carnival of Italy, the Amsterdam Light Festival, and the Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival of Belgium.
