Greetings in Bali generally involve saying Good Morning (Selamat Pagi) or Good Evening (Selamat Siang) in Indonesian along with a smile or a handshake. Raising your voice in the public is considered rude.
Essentials
Like most of the European countries, Australia, and New Zealand, the standard voltage and frequency in Bali are 240 Volts and 50 Hertz. The power sockets in Bali are of type C and type F. Your appliances carrying plug D or M will not fit either socket C or F and you will need a power plug adapter to use during your trip in Bali. Since the operating voltage is just the same as in India, your appliances will work smoothly without any disturbance.
