Day 2

Start your day with a canal cruise and witness in a boat the most popular landmarks of Amsterdam.

As you sail through also witness the Westerkerk church, the Nine Streets district and the Skinny Bridge on the Amstel river which are sights that cannot be better discovered than a laid back Amsterdam canal boat cruise.

After your canal cruise, visit Anne Frank’s house, the building at Prinsengracht 263  where Anne Frank and her family along with four others lived for more than two years, in hiding from Nazi persecution during World war II. Now a house turned into a biographical museum, it contains quotations from Anne’s diary, photographs, and original objects that belonged to those in hiding and illustrate the events that took place there. Currently, Anne’s original diary and other notebooks are on display in this museum for the view of the public.

From Anne Frank’s house, head on to this popular Amsterdam neighborhood to enjoy fine dining and shopping experiences. Famous for its residential area with garden courtyards, upscale boutiques, and eateries, this picturesque region of Amsterdam is a fun place to wander for all tourists. Indulge in a cup of coffee in one of Jordaan’s restaurants and sit and people watch while enjoying traditional Dutch folk music.

Located close to the Chinese quarter in Amsterdam, the museum shows the unknown aspects of the famous painter’s life and his artistic craft.

Red-light district

End your day at the Red-light district because here’s where the night comes alive. The area is surrounded with bars in every nook and corner and here is where the concentration of prostitution and sex-oriented businesses, such as sex shops, strip clubs, and adult theaters, are found. Take a stroll through the area and get the experience of being transported to another world. At the district, don’t miss to visit the Red light secrets Museum, as the museum offers exhibits on the history of Amsterdam’s sex-work industry.
