After the mobile and the internet, what we, as Indians are obsessed about is travel. Thanks to the rapid exposure, travel now has an important space in all our conversations. But while domestic travel is a relatively easier thing to do, international travel isn’t. A major turn off is the visa. The sheer complexity of the process pushes us into a dilemma ‘Do we really want to travel abroad?’. And then, we stop dreaming. What if there is an easier way around? What if there is an option of visa on arrival for Indians?

Indians who are granted with an e-visa or requested an e-visa from the Angola consulates can get a visa on arrival at the checkpoint. This allows a maximum stay of 90 days within the same year.
Starting from April 20, 2018, Indians who have a valid Schengen, UK, US, or Canadian visa have the option to get a visa on arrival. When you arrive at the Bahamas airport, the immigration will present you with an entry letter. Take it to the Consular Division and you are issued with a visa on arrival. The validity is for 3 months.
Indians who are residents of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, can get a visa on arrival.
Indians who are a permanent resident or a holder of a multiple entry visa of the USA are eligible for a visa on arrival.
Upon presenting a letter issued by the Ministry of Security and Interior, there is a visa on arrival available for Indians.

While Egypt generally does not have the option of a visa on arrival for Indians, there is an option to get it if its a group of 10. How to get it? Indians should obtain a Letter of Guarantee (LG) from an Egyptian travel agency and present the proof of air tickets & accommodation. Though the tourist visa to Egypt has a validity of 90 days only a maximum stay of 30 days is allowed.
Indians should present a letter of invitation from the sponsor or the host to get a visa on arrival.
Indians arriving in Malaysia from Singapore, Indonesia, or Thailand, are provided with an option of visa on arrival.
Indians holding a visa from any of the Schengen countries, Ireland, or the UK, can get a visa on arrival.
Indians with a visa sanctioned by the US, Canada, or any Schengen country are granted with a visa on arrival that facilitates a stay of 30 days max. The fee is USD 10.
There is a visa on arrival available for Indians coming into OMAN (air or land) from any of the GCC countries with a valid visa from any of the countries under GCC (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates).
Upon presenting a letter of invitation issued by a registered company in Turkmenistan and approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indians can obtain a visa on arrival for a stay of maximum 10 days. The fee is USD 35.
Indians can get a visa on arrival in Cambodia at a cost of USD 35. The documents required are a passport with a minimum of six months validity, a passport size photo (35*45 mm), and confirmed flight tickets. Plus, a proof of USD 500 should be presented. While the Cambodian visa is valid for 3 months, Indians can stay only a maximum of 30 days. To extend the stay, put out a request to the Immigration centre just outside the Phnom Penh airport. At an additional cost of USD 25, Indians can get an extension of maximum 30 days.
There is a visa on arrival option for Indians arriving in Indonesia. It costs USD 35. The maximum duration of stay for this visa is 30 days. But, it can be extended furthermore for 30 days at the immigration office in Indonesia at an additional cost of USD 45.
Jordan offers tourist visa on arrival for Indians for a duration of 14 days at a cost of USD 60. The applicant must have a passport which is valid for at least 6 months and a minimum funding of USD 1000.
Indians visiting Madagascar are granted with a free visa on arrival given all the documents submitted are valid. The maximum duration of stay is 30.
Sri Lanka offers visa on arrival for Indians valid for a duration of 30 days. It costs USD 25.
Visa on arrival for Indians is available in Thailand at a cost of 2,000 Baht. Further, along with presenting the documents, the proof of funds which is 10,000 Baht per person and 20,000 Baht per family should be presented. It is valid for a period of 15 days.
