Enter the magnificent Sagrada Família via the Nativity Façade, the only one that Antoni Gaudí finished in his lifetime. Compare the different faces of the cathedral, and learn what parts remain unfinished almost 130 years after work started under the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar in 1882. Hear how Gaudí’s plans have been interpreted since his death and learn about the controversies surrounding these interpretations. Move between the columns designed like trees that form the canopy of the ceiling. Explore how Gaudí developed his style from different religious, natural, and Catalonian influences. Get a better appreciation for his innovative use of light as you bask in the glow of the stained-glass windows that flood the interior with an other-worldly light. Look at some of the highlights of the museum, and see the crypt where Gaudí was buried following his death in 1926.

• Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time for check-in. Out of courtesy to other guests, we’re unable to wait for latecomers. No refunds can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows.
• A government-issued ID/passport is required for every participant. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing your entrance to the sites. All guests (including children) must bring ID on the day of their tour.
• All guests, including infants, are required to book a ticket to enter Sagrada Familia. Infants can enter for free, but you still need to reserve a ticket for them.
 • All guests must pass through security at Sagrada Familia.
 • Due to the religious nature of Sagrada Familia, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. You can bring extra covering (scarves, etc.) to put on just before entering. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry.
 • Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
 • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

The Plaza Mayor is a major public space in the heart of Madrid. It was once the centre of Old Madrid. It was first built (1580–1619) during the reign of Philip III. Only a few blocks away is another famous plaza, the Puerta del Sol. 

It was known as "Plaza de San Salvador" in ancient times, as it was located near the (now defunct) Church of San Salvador, in whose atrium the primitive municipal council convened (the church was demolished in 1842). In 1463 Henry IV of Castile granted a market day in the square on Tuesdays. The Casa de los Lujanes (with its adjacent tower), dated from the 15th-century, is the oldest civil building in Madrid.

La Latina is a historic neighborhood in the Centro district of downtown Madrid, Spain. La Latina occupies the place of the oldest area in Madrid, the Islamic citadel inside the city walls, with narrow streets and large squares

The Royal Basilica of Saint Francis the Great is a Roman Catholic church in central Madrid, located in the neighborhood of Palacio.
The main façade faces the Plaza of San Francisco, at the intersection of Bailén, the Gran Vía de San Francisco, and the Carrera de San Francisco. It forms part of the convent of Jesús y María of the Franciscan order. The convent was founded in the 13th century at the site of a chapel. 

Madrid in the late 18th century still looked like a somewhat drab borough, surrounded by medieval walls. Around the year 1774, King Charles III commissioned Francesco Sabatini to construct a monumental gate in the city wall through which an expanded road to the city of Alcalá was to pass, replacing an older, smaller, gate that stood nearby. It was inaugurated in 1778. 

In 1960, due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam and the consequent threat posed by its reservoir to numerous monuments and archeological sites, UNESCO made an international call to save this rich historical legacy. 
As a sign of gratitude for the help provided by Spain in saving the Abu Simbel temples, the Egyptian state donated the Temple of Debod to Spain in 1968. 

Built around 1770 to a design by the architect Ventura Rodríguez, it was commissioned by James Fitz-James Stuart, 3rd Duke of Berwick, who was also the 3rd Duke of Liria (hence the name of the palace). 
In the early 19th century it passed to the inheritance of the House of Alba. On 19 March 1833, a fire broke out at Liria Palace, destroying part of its archive. 

Right in the center of the square is the monument to Miguel de Cervantes, created at the same time as the square itself. Around the monument, a series of landscaped spaces were created for the enjoyment and rest of passers-by. In front of the statue of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza

The Plaza de Cibeles is a square with a neo-classical complex of marble sculptures with fountains that has become a symbol for the city of Madrid. It sits at the intersection of Calle de Alcalá, Paseo de Recoletos and Paseo del Prado.

The gardens in the plaza are known as the Jardines del Descubrimiento, where the Royal Mint was located until 1970.

The Buen Retiro Park, Retiro Park or simply El Retiro is one of the largest parks of the city of Madrid, Spain. The park belonged to the Spanish Monarchy until the late 19th century, when it became a public park.
