As the boat approaches the Volcano, the volcanic island emerges, captivating your senses.

Next stop will be the island of Palea Kameni where the famous hot springs are located on the west side. We will stop there for 30 minutes to swim. The boat will stop at an estimated distance of approximately 30-40 meters that you will have to swim to reach the thermal waters. It is important to note that the customers that will decide to swim at the hot springs, must be strong and skilled swimmers, since they will have to swim a relatively long distance (30-40 meters).

The tour will start from the “Old Port of Fira” which is accessible only by cable car 6€ /per way (depart every 15 mins.) or by walking down the steps (30 mins walking). The meeting point is at "Santo Star" office at the old port.We expect all customers to arrive 30 mins prior the departure time.

A good choice for someone to visit the volcano of Santorini,without spending enough time and money is the following tour.

The boat departs daily from the old port of Fira at 11.00 in the morning.After a 10-minute short trip, the boat arrives at the port of Erinia which is the name of the small bay of the active volcano. The ship will remain there for 1 hour and 15 minutes and if you want,you can follow the small path to reach the top where the active craters are located. There you can take pictures,see the rocks still smoking and where it strongly smells brimstone.



After your return back to the ship,we depart for the island of Palaia Kameni where the hot springs are located , the famous natural mud baths, which have been created after the volcanic eruptions. In the small bay of St.Nickolas,the water temperature varies from 30 to 35 degrees Celcius , as it constantly mixes with the normal seawater.
The ship remains here about 30 minutes and you have the opportunity for swimming.It's quite a time since there is no beach but you should climb down the stairs of the boat.You have to swim about 30 meters until the interior of the small bay of the Hot Springs.After the swimming at the thermal waters,the boat returns back to the same port at 14.00.
