High Adventure: Landscapes and Legends Tour from Windermere

Start the tour and meet all passengers at the main pickup point.

The first stop is in the beautiful village of Glennridding, nestled in the Ullswater valley.

Stop by the shores of Ullswater for photographs.
Please Note: Kirkstone Pass will be closed from Monday 7th - Friday 18th October.

These tours will still be running as usual but with a temporary diversion route; the duration of your experience will remain the same with another spectacular scenery visit added elsewhere.

Visit the ancient stone circle of Castlerigg, thought to be 4,000 years old.

Stop in the charming town of Keswick and explore.

Stop at Honister where you will be treated to some of the most beautiful views in the Lake District. 

Buttermere is well known to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the national park.

Pass by the man made reservoir nestled in the shadow of Helvellyn. 

Stop in the charming village of Grasmere and pass by the Lake. 

End your fantastic day tour at your drop off point.

Please note: *Westmorland and Furness Council are working towards upgrading and improving the safety of the A592 (Kirkstone Pass) which connects Windermere to Brotherswater and Ullswater. Unfortunately this does mean the road is closed for specific periods throughout the year, including 5th June 2023 – 3rd July 2023, 2nd October – 16th October and 1st March 2024 – 22nd March 2024. Mountain Goat Full Day Tour: Ten Lakes Tour of the Lake District 

Your driver-guide takes you to their favourite stop within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park where you can grab coffee and enjoy the views.

Be moved by the sheer beauty and tragic tales of one of Scotland’s most famous landscapes.

Fort Augustus boasts the Caledonian Canal, which is a great spot to relax and watch the boats sail by into Loch Ness. You have around one hour and a half here. You can search for the infamous monster on a relaxing boat cruise, wander around the shores of the loch at your own pace, and grab a bite to eat.

Included in the tour - 50 minute cruise around Loch Ness 

Your journey south is packed full of classic Highland scenery. You travel through the curvy Cairngorms National Park, along Loch Laggan, and past Blair Castle.
