  • Adventure Activities:For the adventurous couple, South Africa offers activities like shark cage diving, bungee jumping from Bloukrans Bridge, and zip-lining in the scenic Tsitsikamma Forest.
  • Beach Bliss:Relax on the pristine beaches of the Indian Ocean, such as those in Durban or the coastal towns along the Garden Route.

Cost of the Honeymoon Vacation Package

The cost of South Africa honeymoon packages from the USA can vary significantly depending on factors like the duration of your holiday, the level of accommodation, and the inclusions. On average, a 10 to 14-day honeymoon package can range from$5,000 to $10,000 per person. This typically covers international flights, accommodation, guided vacations, and some meals.

Keep in mind that luxury accommodations and private safaris may push the cost higher, while opting for more budget-friendly options can help you save. It's essential to discuss your budget and preferences with a travel agent to find the perfect package that suits your needs.

How to Reach South Africa from the US

Reaching South Africa from the USA is relatively straightforward, thanks to well-connected international airports. Here are the primary options for flying to South Africa:

Johannesburg: O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg is the busiest and most well-connected airport in South Africa. Many international flights from the USA land here.

Cape Town: Cape Town International Airport is another major gateway to South Africa and is particularly convenient if you plan to start your honeymoon in Cape Town.

Durban: King Shaka International Airport serves Durban and offers some international flights, although it may require connecting flights.

Direct flights from major US cities like New York, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C., to Johannesburg are available, making it convenient for honeymooners to reach their dream destination.

Trip to SA -The itinerary planning was sloppy from start. Couple of swapping of hotels without reasons being said. Due to the swap of hotel in Capetown, things were bit not in favour for tourists. The hotel had no parking and they had paid valet parking. And then the entry and exit of the hotel leads to a square inn with refugees staying there. No complaints on the refugees, but just that they stare at the tourists which we wouldnt feel secure.Miscalculation of driving timings while planning.A practical knowledge on the places will help them probably in planning. The place itself, activities over there, the hospitality by the locals and the support team from PYT were great. South Africa is a beautiful place indeed. Thanks to Sunil, Alex, Preetha and the other support members.
