How to reach Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort?

You will have to fly from your home country to Male International Airport in the Maldives to get to the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort. Seaplane is the only and only way to get to the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort. To board the seaplane, you will be transported from the international airport to the domestic flight terminal.

The journey by seaplane from the domestic terminal to the resort takes 55 minutes; fares are cheaper since the resort is on the same island as the domestic airport. The staff at the resort will explain to you how to get from the airport to the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort. Since the trip by seaplane is longer, the speedboat would take longer to arrive. One of the reasons why speedboats are not permitted at the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort is because of this. The rates for round trip, Adult: USD 360 inclusive of all taxes, Child (2 to 11 years): USD 290, inclusive of all taxes, Infant (below 2 years): Complimentary.

Transportation

Transportation to the Maldives can be costly, but taking public transportation can help you save some money. Dhonis, or public ferries, operate between islands six days a week (except Saturdays) and cost between 130 and 660 INR. Since there are no public ferries or speed boats available from the Male airport, it's important to book your airport transfer ahead of time. Seaplanes, Airport speed boats, and Airport Ferries are among the choices open to passengers, with service every 10 minutes from 6 a.m. to 2.30 a.m. In the Maldives, there are no public transportation passes; however, public ferries and speedboats are inexpensive, with fares ranging from 130 to 360 INR and 1300 to 3200 INR, depending on the route. While Ola and Uber taxi services are available in Male, car rentals are not available anywhere in the Maldives. It's best to walk around the city and use public transportation to get between islands.
