New Year In Maldives- How we spent our New Year in Dream Destination?

The Maldives is a dream destination for every young couple especially newlyweds. A tropical paradise that is home to some of the most stunning beaches in the world with unbelievably romantic views is indeed a great option to pick. Also, we wanted to spend our New year in the Maldives, a beautiful island of love and happiness.

While we were surfing the internet regarding a getaway destination, we got a call from Pickyourtrail. We gave some inputs regarding our likes and expectations. Our travel consultant, Yash was so knowledgeable and professional. He took us through a complete imaginary trip with his explanation regarding the Maldives trip. Later, we received a mail with four different itineraries having different budgets, hotels and flights. The hand holding they gave us for planning was simply outstanding. After a dive into the beach during our New year trip to Maldives

We were given a beautiful stay in the Adaaran club Rannadhil hotel. The hotel had all modern conveniences with natural surroundings adding to the ambience. Both the terrace and balcony view provided unhindered views of the ocean crashing on the golden shores or the verdant gardens. We stepped out of our rooms in the evenings onto the soft sand and enjoyed our food and drinks under the guise of the clear sky. Our stay in the water villa with panoramic ocean views that gave access to the changing scenery when day turns to night was so beautiful.

The most interesting part of our Maldives honeymoon was snorkelling experience. We witnessed a beautiful range of fishes and giant tortoises. Diving deep into the crystal clear waters was a dream come true experience. The cute and cuddly dolphins of the sea surprised us in the morning near our villa.

How would I not mention my most favourite experience? It was the New Years night on the beach! It was one amazing experience that we would never forget for a lifetime. What could be more romantic and memorable than celebrating the new year’s eve in the overwater bungalows amidst turquoise blue sea that’s totally lit with festive lights? The vivid lights and colourful crackers along with nature’s coordination just blew our minds. It was a whole new experience as we celebrated New Year with a large group of people who were equally excited. From great music to delicious food, they had everything that kept our energies high. The celebration went on so well that we never wanted the night to end.

The people in the Maldives were simply amazing. We met a lot of people from across the globe. It was a nice experience to mingle with people from multiple cultures. The people in our resort were so friendly and kind. Most of them were from different neighbouring islands. They were ready to help us out whenever we wanted. We never felt like we were new to that place.
