With thousands and hundreds of tourists visiting Dubai every year, the entertainment city of the world needs no introduction! Ultra-modern architecture, lively nightlife, magnificent Burj Khalifa views of the beautiful skylines, Dubai is full of glory and a pretentious lifestyle. Dubai took the first initiative of integrating a collection of theme parks to provide a differentiated experience for tourists as well as enhancing Dubai tourism. Dubai Parks and Resorts is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and is one of the largest leisure theme parks from 2016 onwards.
Dubai Parks and Resorts has more than 100 rides and is 25,000,000 square widespread with three theme parks and one waterpark. It also has numerous food courts and fine dining options within the parks.
Dubai Parks And Resorts boasts three theme parks which makes it unique from other parks. The Bollywood Park Dubai, Legoland, and Motiongate are the theme parks and the Legoland is the Water Park. It also owns a well-known dining themed area called the Riverland which has one Lapita Hotel, which is a five-star Polynesian hotel.
Motiongate – Dubai Parks and Resorts
This theme park is inspired by Hollywood, and is divided into five zones: Studio Central, Dreamworks, the Smurf Village, Columbia Pictures and the Lionsgate. You can get to see behind-the-scenes of all marvel movies and give you a better experience than real-life movie sets when in Studio Central. No doubt, this is the place for film making enthusiasts. This theme park has all the three major, well-known filmmaking studios with various attractions on the Lionsgate, Columbia Pictures, the Smurfs and many more.
Riverland – Dubai Parks and Resorts
Riverland is divided into four zones that come together brilliantly to form a unique environment of fun, food, music, celebration and entertainment. These are the French Village, Boardwalk, India Gate, and The Peninsula. Visitors do not require a ticket to access this theme park.
Legoland – Dubai Parks and Resorts
The Legoland highlights 15,000 models made of millions of lego bricks, with more than 40 exciting, magnificent rides and various attractions. Families with kids of age 3 to 12 years can have a great experience.
There is also a Legoland Water Park in the same premises, which has more than 20 Lego-themed water slides and attractions like the Duplo toddler play area, wave pool. The water theme park also had a Build-A-Raft River, where the raft can be personalized. It is the region’s only water park created particularly for families that have young kids.
Lapita Hotel
It is a Polynesian themed 5star hotel with a luxurious yet relaxed charm and is perfect for both families and couples. The main highlight of Lapita is the two lagoon style pools in the centre surrounded by palm trees and beautiful flowers. There are large villas with thatch roofs around the pools and so much lush vegetation it feels like you are staying somewhere tropical. It’s a large resort so golf buggies zip around offering you a lift if you need it.
You can experience the best in Dubai parks and resorts by availing a two parks pass and enjoy any two parks on the same day and this also cuts the cost drastically. There are also annual passes available which gives you additional benefits.
