The state of Arunachal Pradesh has got three famous breathtaking waterfalls. The Nuranang Waterfall, the Bap Teng Kang Waterfall and the Sirki Waterfalls. 1. Nuranang Waterfall

Fondly called as the Bong Bong Waterfalls by the locals, Nuranang Waterfall is a famous attraction in Arunachal Pradesh. Located in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, the 100-metre tall waterfall is a serene beauty. The fall gets its name from the nearby village called Jang village which is just 2kms away from the falls. There is also a hydro plant located nearby the waterfall from where the nearby villages get electricity. Originating from the Sela Pass in Arunachal Pradesh, the water flows through different parts of the state. Spend a warm sunny day trekking or hiking. 2. Bap Teng Kang Waterfalls

In the Yumkhang district of the state of Arunachal Pradesh, you can spot the Bap Teng Kang Waterfalls. Although not high as Nuranang Falls, this is the second-best falls in the state. The 30-metre high waterfall is a stark example of how a fall should be. Hike to the base of the waterfalls and enjoy swimming with your friends and family. This jaw-dropping waterfall attracts tourists round the year. But the best time to visit here would be between the months of April and June. The waterfalls and its surroundings will leave you awestruck at every glance. Take a day trip here for some fun bonding time with your family and loved ones.

3. Sirki Waterfalls

Located about 10 kilometres away from Pasighat is the Sirki Waterfalls of Arunachal Pradesh. The place is about 17 mins drive from the town. This particular waterfall has two levels within it, the upper level and the lower level. The top-level or the upper level of the falls needs a little more hiking than the base which is about an hour extra. Both levels can be accessed by tourists. Once you reach the summit, take a deep breath and get enchanted by the fascinating view. The 45 metres long falls gushing downstream during the rainy season is indeed a pleasant sight to see!

Unlike other falls located in the state, there are several sports activities that you could try at Sirki Falls. If you are bored with the sports, head out for a short trek, where you can explore the mountains.
