And the sweetest surprise was when she arranged a birthday cake for our little one and had it delivered to us in Tbilisi. That thoughtful gesture truly made our daughters first birthday even more special and made our day! The itinerary, planning, stays, coordination and overall experience were beautifully put together. We recently completed our Australia trip planned through Pickyourtrail. While we enjoyed the destination, there were several areas where better guidance and planning would have made our experience much smoother: 1. Whale-Watching Booking The whale-watching company booked for us operated smaller boats, which are more likely to be affected by weather conditions. Our trip was impacted because of this. It would be better to recommend operators with larger vessels, as they can generally operate despite minor weather changes. 2. Melbourne Accommodation The hotel rooms booked for us in Melbourne were extremely small and uncomfortable for a family. Better hotel options, particularly those suitable for families travelling with children, should have been suggested. 3. Free Attractions in Melbourne Melbourne has several places that can be explored without purchasing tickets, but these were not included in our itinerary. For example, the free City Circle Tram, Route 35, takes tourists around many of Melbournes heritage buildings and major attractions. Information like this would have helped us explore the city better and manage our expenses. 4. Car-Seat Requirements Families travelling with children up to seven years old should be informed in advance about child-seat requirements while using taxis or ride-hailing services in Sydney and Melbourne. We were unaware of this and faced considerable inconvenience. This is essential information and should form part of the pre-travel guidance. 5. Cairns Airport Transfers In Cairns, the arranged taxi service could not provide a vehicle large enough for our family and luggage. For both transfers, we had to take two separate taxis, which was inconvenient and should have been anticipated during the planning stage. 6. Local Transport Guidance Basic information about public transport should be included in every itinerary. For example: - Sydney uses the Opal card for trains, buses, ferries and light rail. - Melbourne uses the myki card, although it is not required within the Free Tram Zone. Such information would help travellers use public transport confidently and avoid unnecessary spending on taxis. Overall, the itinerary covered the main destinations, but it lacked practical, family-specific guidance. Since we were travelling with a young child and an elderly family member, details regarding suitable accommodation, vehicle capacity, car-seat requirements, weather-dependent activities and local transportation should have been planned and communicated more carefully. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps Pickyourtrail improve the travel experience for future families. Over all we had a great time! Rishi Sharma and surya gave enough time to us at planning stage and understanding the need of the families. While on trip Gaurav was continuously in touch and did the needful as and when requested. Pick your trail team is very helpful and approachable.

We have booked a trip with PYT team for our bali trip. Our local guide was very punctual and ensured smooth transitions. Our trip was really well coordinated and regular checks by the team ensured a hassle free experience.

I want to take a moment to share our feedback on our recent Georgia trip, with PYT Overall, we would rate our experience a 9/10. We genuinely loved the itinerary, the travel experience and, most importantly, the way the trip allowed us to experience different sides of Georgia within the time available. What stood out to us the most was the way the itinerary was planned in consultation with us; special thanks to Salome A. It felt thoughtfully curated rather than being a standard package, with an effort to cover the best possible experiences the country had to offer. Of course, there were a few places we couldnt cover, but we completely understand that it isnt possible to experience everything in seven days. The itinerary struck a very good balance between sightseeing, travel and experiences. A special mention has to go to Mr Amuri, who was one of the biggest reasons our trip was so memorable. He went well beyond the designated itinerary to take us to places and experiences that we might otherwise have missed. More than just being a driver and guide, he genuinely tried to make us experience Georgia. His recommendations for authentic Georgian food were absolutely on point from the bread and lobiani to the khachapuri at Retro Caf and his khinkali recommendations, we loved every bit of it. We would also like to appreciate the PickYourTrail team Shreya, Jaffy, Abhiraj and the entire team for staying in constant touch throughout the trip. The regular check-ins and coordination gave us the comfort of knowing that someone was always keeping an eye on our journey and ensuring that things were going smoothly. Gudauri was probably the highlight of the trip for us the uphill drive, the ATV experience and the incredible view from our hotel made it particularly memorable. And finally, a small gesture that genuinely touched us was when Mr Amuri gave us a Georgian flag as a souvenir on our last day. It wasnt something we had asked for or expected, but it was a lovely way to end the trip and gave us something tangible to take back with us from Georgia. Overall, we came back with some wonderful memories and, more importantly, with a genuine fondness for Georgia. A large part of that was because of the people who helped us experience it the way we did.
