Had a super awesome trip to Australia, all planned and booked through Pickyourtrail. The 11 days was an unforgettable experience for us, made possible by the great peeps at PYT. The visa process and overall booking experience was hassle free and super easy. Would recommend PYT to anyone wishing to have a great experience. Suggestion for improvement: The app suggested some good tips like the different plug point in Australia that helped us prepare for it. Wouldve been great if the app suggested a low exchange rate credit card for use internationally.Amit S Namboothiry, Trip to Australia

Australia Budget Itinerary: 14 Nights 15 Days

Australia is a magnificent land of diverse landscapes, rich cultures, and unforgettable experiences waiting just for you. Over the course of 14 nights, immerse yourself in the heart of this stunning country, from the vibrant streets of Sydney to the serene beauty of Uluru. Every stop on this journey offers a unique glimpse into the soul of Australia, making it an adventure you won’t want to miss.

Highlights of the Destination

  • Sydney: Begin your journey in Sydney, where the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge will leave you breathless. The vibrant neighborhoods of The Rocks and Darling Harbour are filled with history, eateries, and a buzzing atmosphere. Don't forget to catch a ferry ride for stunning views of the city skyline from the water.
  • Cairns: Next, head to Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Dive into crystal-clear waters to explore vibrant coral reefs teeming with life. The Esplanade is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a meal with stunning views of the lagoon.
  • Port Douglas: A short drive from Cairns, Port Douglas offers a more laid-back vibe with upscale boutiques and tranquil beaches. Take a day trip to the Daintree Rainforest, one of the oldest rainforests in the world, for a dose of adventure.
  • Uluru: No trip to Australia is complete without a visit to Uluru. This sacred monolith rises dramatically from the earth, and watching the sunset over it is a moment you’ll cherish forever. Engage with the local Anangu culture to understand the spiritual significance of this majestic site.

Travel Tips for Australia

  • Book activities in advance: From bus tours in Sydney to tours of the Great Barrier Reef, booking ahead can save you time and ensure you don’t miss out.
  • Local customs: Australians are friendly and laid-back, but always remember to say 'please' and 'thank you.' Tipping is appreciated but not obligatory.
  • Weather considerations: Australia is vast and the climate varies widely. Pack for different weather conditions, especially if you’re visiting both coastal areas and the Red Centre.
  • Transportation: Consider using public transport in cities. Sydney’s trains and buses are reliable, and for long distances, domestic flights can save you time.

Conclusion

Your 14-night journey through Australia is not just a vacation; it’s an exploration of a land filled with wonders. From urban excitement to natural beauty, this experience will be etched in your memory for years to come. So pack your bags, grab your camera, and get ready to create unforgettable memories in this beautiful country.

Had a 10 day trip to Australia. 1. During the entire trip, the support (particularly Gaurav from Customer Experience) was always just a ping away. They resolved every query within a few minutes and I never felt left out or stranded during the entire trip. 2. All my questions before the trip was answered and the team was proactively calling me up to know if i have any questions about the activities or the plan in general. 3. The hotels booked were in perfect locations and had access to public transport and food. Everything was at walkable distance and made my spontaneous planning a breeze. 4. The Cairns river tubing provider was AWESOME and gave us a real good experience. Overall, pickyourtrail is my pick for any trip :)

Had a wonderful holiday in Australia (Perth and Adelaide) thanks to the customised meticulous arrangements by pickyourtrail team right from travel in Australia, air tickets, activity suggestions and arrangements and hotel booking. Balabharathi was always in touch throughout the 9 day period making sure all minor issues were sorted out and sending reminders of the next day's shchedule. Even when one activity was cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, the team quickly acted on my suggestion and made sure the activity took place. The high level of committment and professionalism by Balabharathi and the pyt team is indeed commendable. Recommend them for all holidays, domestic and international.
