Embark on an enchanting 7-night winter escape in the breathtaking city of Stockholm, where the frosty air is filled with the scent of freshly baked cinnamon buns and the twinkling lights create a magical atmosphere. Picture yourself strolling down cobblestone streets lined with ochre buildings, as you explore this stunning archipelago city split across 14 islands. Winter transforms Stockholm into a fairytale land, perfect for those looking to experience a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.

Highlights of the Destination

  • Marvel at the iconic Vasa Museum, home to the 17th-century warship that sank on its maiden voyage and was salvaged after over 300 years.
  • Wander through Gamla Stan, the Old Town, with its narrow cobblestone streets teeming with shops, cafes, and rich history.
  • Enjoy a cozy fika at a local café, savoring traditional Swedish pastries in the heart of Stockholm's culture.
  • Discover the magic of winter adventures, from snowshoeing hikes to breathtaking archipelago boat tours.

Travel Tips for Stockholm

  • Pack layers; winter temperatures can be biting, so thermal wear is essential for exploration.
  • Public transport is efficient; consider using the SL travel card for seamless trips across the city and its islands.
  • Make reservations for popular attractions, especially the Vasa Museum, to avoid long queues.
  • Don't miss out on the local lighting decorations during winter festivities—they bring an added charm to the streets.

8.5 We liked : 1. Well organised trip with absolute no stress during Travel. 2. Time to Time pickup and drop, additionally drivers were pretty good and of welcoming nature. 3. Food and service were really tasty in both the Hotels. 4. All pre-visit information and requested modifications were delivered amazingly. Improvement : 1. hotel room details (backside room, no good view from window, and missing gallery) 2. Swimming pool not present in IBIS hotel. (Same missing view/gallery) 3. Better cruise experience expected, food was bland and no open-upper deck. (We saw a few cruises there with an open upper deck) Improvements are just suggestions and not complaints.
