Best Time to Visit Laos: Weather, Seasons & Festivals

Weather and Seasonal Guide

Dry Season (November to April)
This period of the year is the best time to visit Laos. The weather ranges from 15 to 30 °C with clear skies, which are good to go on trekking, going on river cruises and visiting temples. During this season, popular festivals such as That Luang Festival and Lao New Year (Pi Mai) are held, and they are attractively colourful and culturally rich.

Wet Season (May to October)
Afternoon rains occur during the rainy season, but the mornings are usually sunny. The rice fields become deep green, forming a beautiful scenery of the countryside. This is the ideal season for waterfall enthusiasts, and as the off-season, it offers the lowest prices for Laos holiday packages.

The assistance provided was really amazing. From day1 when I reached out for a package, the team took all the care to accommodate all my requirements and came up with perfect options. On top of it, they came up with suggestions that enhanced my experience even more. It was pleasantly surprising to see that they dont stop after the booking is done. The team was in constant touch until I was there at the destination and even then they reached out to ensure everything was going smooth. Had a top class experience. 100% and I will definitely use them more frequently. Well done team. Keep up the amazing work you do..!

Tailored Itinerary: Instead of pushing cookie-cutter packages, the agent took the time to understand my pace and interests.Having a dedicated WhatsApp line for real-time adjustments made a world of difference. What could have been better : Few of the island hotel selection based on the place's ambience and a clear catch of communication from the customer.
