Verona airport also known as Valerio Catullo Airport or Villafranca Airport, is located 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest of Verona, Italy. It was a military airport during the First World War. It became open to civil traffic in the early 1910s with daily scheduled connections to Rome and charter flights to destinations in northern Europe. There are no direct flight to Verona from Indian cities however you can fly to nearby Italian cities and fly to Verona domestically. Venice international airport is the closest international airport.

Verona-Villafranca Airport is equipped with a fog-dispersal device, which remains the best solution available in Italy and abroad to date, so that flight operations could continue during times of low visibility. The two terminals, departures and arrivals, are situated next to each other. The departures hall hosts check-in facilities at the eastern side. The lounge is located on the first floor's eastern wing. The main bus stand is located directly outside the arrivals hall.

Public buses are operated by ATV. As of 2014, a single 'urban' ticket (valid for 90 minutes on as many bus connections within Verona's central area) costs €1.30 from ATV's ticket office or any newsagent stores at Verona Porta Nuova station. Buying directly from the bus driver costs €2.00. You can also buy a bus ticket from one of several parking ticket machines scattered around town for €1.10.

Taxis can be picked up at designated Taxi halts throughout the city including the railway station. Please note that the meter starts to run immediately after booking and not on pick-up.

This region does not cater to City/Public passes.

You can hire a car at the airport. Drivers must be above the age of 21 and must possess a credit card and an International Driver's permit. Avis/Europecar/ Hertz are some options for Car hires.
