Welcome to Baku, a captivating blend of ancient heritage and modern architecture nestled along the Caspian Sea. In just 2 nights and 3 days, immerse yourself in the unique charm of Azerbaijan's capital - where every corner tells a story. From the medieval Old City with its iconic Maiden Tower to the dazzling Flame Towers glowing against the night sky, Baku promises unforgettable experiences at every turn.
Highlights of the Destination
- Explore the Old City (Icherisheher) - Wander through cobblestone streets where history whispers tales of its past. Visit the striking Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshah Palace, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and relish the ancient charm that envelops this ancient fortress.
- Highland Park - Standing at the highest point of Baku, this park offers panoramic views over the city and the Caspian Sea. It’s a perfect spot for sunset photography or a tranquil stroll.
- Baku Ferris Wheel - Get a bird's eye view of the skyline aboard the Baku Eye. This giant wheel adds a touch of thrill to your journey, with each rotation revealing new angles of this vibrant city.
- Little Venice - Located within Baku Boulevard, this enchanting area offers serene boat rides through its charming waterways, making it perfect for relaxation after exploring.
Travel Tips for Baku
- Local Currency - Make sure to have some Azerbaijani Manat on hand for local purchases as many small shops may not accept cards.
- Dress Code - While Baku is quite modern, it's respectful to dress modestly when visiting religious sites. It’s wise to carry a scarf if you plan to visit mosques.
- Public Transport - Utilize the Baku Metro for efficient travel. It’s affordable and surprisingly easy to navigate, connecting major districts swiftly.
- Language - While Azerbaijani is the official language, don’t hesitate to use English; many locals, especially in tourism, are approachable and eager to assist.
Conclusion
Your 2-night adventure in Baku will be a delightful rush of discovery and wonder, blending the hustle of city life with the allure of history. Each moment is a chance to soak in vibrant culture and unique landscapes, making your journey as memorable as the city itself. Ready to explore? Baku awaits with open arms and endless possibilities.

We went on a trip to Azerbaijan.. All the arrangements were perfect ... The transfers were all made on time. The team could have taken care about the opening of the Lavender field .. We missed it as it was closed due to off season . On the whole we enjoyed the trip !
