Prepare for a journey that’s not just about the sights, but also the stories and interactions that make Bali truly special.

Highlights of the Destination

  • Ubud: The cultural heart of Bali, renowned for its art galleries, temples, and verdant landscapes. Don’t miss the iconic Tegalalang Rice Terrace.
  • Kuta: A surfer's paradise and beach haven, bustling with vibrant nightlife and delicious local eateries. Lounge on the sandy shores or catch some waves.
  • Nusa Dua: Home to pristine beaches and upscale resorts, this area is perfect for relaxation and water sports. Dive into snorkeling and soak up the sun.
  • Uluwatu Temple: Perched on a cliff, this majestic temple offers stunning ocean views and an unforgettable Kecak dance performance at sunset.

Travel Tips for Bali

  • Embrace local customs: Balinese culture is rich in traditions. Respect local customs at temples and dress modestly.
  • Stay hydrated: The tropical climate can be humid, especially during the day. Carry water with you as you explore.
  • Try local cuisine: Don't miss tasting traditional dishes like Nasi Goreng and Babi Guling at local warungs for an authentic experience.

I recently planned my Bali trip with Pickyourtrail, and overall it was a smooth and hassle-free experience. From bookings, visa assistance, and itineraries to on-ground coordination, everything was handled very well. The team was proactive, responsive, and always available to help, which made the trip very convenient and stress-free. A special thanks to Mithun, Vaishnavi, Mahalakshmi, Keertana, Anit, and Selina for their constant support. The stays were a mixed experience the first villa was visually beautiful but had some service and food-related gaps, and its distance from key locations added to travel time. However, the stay at Merusaka was excellent and truly a 5-star experience. There were also a few minor gaps with itinerary execution on-ground, but these were addressed by the team. Overall, despite a few small hiccups, I had a great experience and would recommend Pickyourtrail for a well-planned vacation.
