The Agung Rai Museum of Art, which is also called the Arma Museum, was officially established by the Indonesian Government on June 9, 1996. Dr Ing. Wardiman Djojonegoro, opened this museum to the preservation and conservation of Balinese art and literature. The museum is open to the public on all days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m with an entrance fee of 100,000 IDR (Rs. 535) per person. The museum’s Balinese dance performances are held between  3 pm and 5 pm on Monday to Friday and 10:30 am to 12 pm on Saturday & Sunday.
