After many years, the museum was officially inaugurated on July 7th by Dr Daoed Joesoef, the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture. Presently, the museum houses nearly 400 artworks, including old Balinese paintings, keris, sculptures, and photographs. The Neka Art Museum is open daily from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm and is closed on Nyepi Days.
