Dubai Flea Market

Established in 2007, the Dubai Flea Market is an environmentally friendly initiative that promotes and practises recycling, reuse and sustainable living.  The market rotates through several prime locations, including Reef Mall, Drop Al Twar, Expo Village, Zabeel (1st Sun), Al Barsha Pond (last Sat eve), and Discovery Gardens. This creates a unique atmosphere in this marketplace as compared to the traditional souks or malls.

Tip for the Season: One must plan to visit the evening or indoor markets while visiting during the summer season (May–September).

• Best Days to Visit: The schedule is location-specific. For example, Zabeel Park usually hosts the market on the first Sunday, while Al Barsha Pond Park often holds an evening market on the last Saturday of the month.

• Metro: Take the Red Line to Max Metro Station (formerly Al Jafiliya) for Zabeel Park (Gate 1). For Discovery Gardens Park, use the Al Furjan Metro Station (Exit 1).
• Bus: Routes are available from major areas like Bur Dubai and Karama.

From Dubai Marina / JLT

• Car/Taxi: Car travel takes around 25 minutes.
• Metro: Take the red line to Mall of the Emirates, then plan your transfer depending on the market venue.
