From Canguu, it takes 3 hours to go to Amed, while from Ubud, it takes 2.5 hours. Renting a scooter is recommended (costing 60,000 IDR per day). In addition, the Grab Taxi is a good choice. Approaching the location slowly will help you avoid missing the turn to the beach. Both entrances and parking are free.
