Khun Si Waterfall

One of the best attractions in Koh Samui is the Khun Si waterfall. It is one attraction that should be included in all Koh Samui packages. Tucked amid durian farms and jungle (no picking—private land), it's a 10–15 min hike from the parking lot. Nearby Khun Si Viewpoint offers epic panoramas. The waterfalls include tiers of rocks and stones, and when the water cascades, it forms little, pleasant natural pools. The water is refreshing and cold, particularly on a scorching tropical day. Explore nearby jungle/plantations cautiously—slippery rocks demand sturdy shoes. Check water depth before jumping; assess fitness for steep climbs. Go in groups, daylight only. Pack: shoes, water, bug spray, towel, swimsuit, cash for roadside snacks (50–100 THB/INR118–INR235).

• If you are planning to visit during the peak season (December to February), it is advisable to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Tourists can visit the waterfalls on all days of the week from 06:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.
