Where is Male City Located

Nestled in the North Male Atoll, Male is the financial and cultural capital of the Maldives. It is also one of the most densely populated cities in the Maldives. Male spans just 1.92–2.59 square kilometres and is easily accessible from the Velana airport on nearby Hulhulé Island, which is connected by the Sinamalé Bridge. Unlike resort islands in the Maldives, it is known as a vibrant urban hub with high-rise buildings, bustling markets and historical sites. You can visit its stunning attractions to learn about the local culture, traditions and daily life. As an Islamic city, you are not going to find any nightlife in Male City like in Thailand and Bali, alcohol or loud bars.
