The Singapore Flyer is a 165-metre-tall observation wheel at 30 Raffles Avenue, Singapore. It has 28 air-conditioned capsules. Unlike a conventional observation deck, the Singapore Flyer gives you a moving panoramic view from an enclosed capsule. One complete rotation takes around 30 minutes, allowing you to see Marina Bay, the central business district and surrounding areas from different angles.

The standard Singapore Flyer ticket costs SGD 46 (₹3,360) for adults and SGD 25 (₹1,882) for children aged 3 to 12. Children under 3 can enter for free. The ticket includes one 30-minute ride, Time Capsule and access to the FLYER360 augmented-reality experience.

You can also choose special experiences if you want more than a standard ride:

• Champagne or Singapore Sling Experience: Enjoy a drink during your Singapore Flyer ride. The premium Champagne Experience is for guests aged 18 and above.
• Day-to-Night Ticket: Get two Singapore Flyer rides on the same day. This lets you see Singapore in daylight and return after dark to see the city lights. The ticket includes two 30-minute rotations.
• 165 Sky Dining: Enjoy a 90-minute dinner experience inside a shared capsule, with views of Marina Bay and the Singapore skyline.
• Private Capsule: Groups can book an entire capsule instead of sharing it with other visitors. A capsule can accommodate up to 28 people, subject to the operator's conditions.

The Day-to-Night Singapore Flyer ticket gives you two rotations on the same day. You can take one ride during daylight and return later for the illuminated skyline. Each rotation lasts about 30 minutes.

• Marina Bay Sands: Look across Marina Bay for a clear view of the three hotel towers and the distinctive SkyPark on top. The building stands out especially well as the city lights come on after sunset.
• Gardens by the Bay: The colourful Supertrees are easy to spot near the waterfront. From the Flyer, you can see them standing alongside the bay and surrounding gardens.
• Merlion Park: Look towards the waterfront to spot the famous Merlion statue, with its lion head and fish body facing Marina Bay. The surrounding waterfront and skyline make it a great landmark to photograph.
• Esplanade: The dome-shaped Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is another easy landmark to identify from above. Its distinctive exterior makes it easy to pick out among the buildings around Marina Bay.

What Can Affect Your Visit?

• Bad weather: The Flyer may temporarily stop operating during severe weather for safety reasons. If your ride is affected, eligible guests may be allowed to revisit within 30 days.
• Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix: The 2026 Singapore Grand Prix takes place from 9 to 11 October. The Singapore Flyer may have special operating arrangements or closures around major events, so check the official website before visiting. Road closures and traffic changes in the Marina Centre and Padang area are scheduled from 7 to 13 October 2026.

The easiest way to reach the Singapore Flyer is by MRT. The attraction is at 30 Raffles Avenue, and the nearest MRT station is Promenade MRT Station, served by the Circle Line and Downtown Line.

By MRT

Take the Circle Line or Downtown Line to Promenade MRT Station and leave through Exit A. The Singapore Flyer is about an 8-minute walk from the station. 

By Bus

The nearest bus stop is Ritz-Carlton Hotel, stop 02171, located across the road from the Singapore Flyer. Several bus services stop nearby, making this a convenient option if you are already exploring the Marina Bay area.

By Car or Taxi

For a taxi or private-hire car, use 30 Raffles Avenue, Singapore 039803 as the destination. The Singapore Flyer has a multi-storey car park with 284 lots.

A Simple Evening Itinerary

• 5:15 PM: Reach Promenade MRT Station and walk to the Singapore Flyer. The attraction is about an 8-minute walk from Exit A.
• 5:30–6:15 PM: Enter the Time Capsule and explore the experience before boarding.
• Around sunset: Board the Singapore Flyer and enjoy the 30-minute rotation. Choose your exact boarding time based on the sunset time for your travel date.
• After the ride: Walk towards Marina Bay Sands and the waterfront. You can take your time taking photos along the way.
• 8:00 or 9:00 PM: Watch Spectra – A Light & Water Show at the Event Plaza. The show lasts about 15 minutes. It runs at 8 PM and 9 PM from Sunday to Thursday, with an additional 10 PM show on Friday and Saturday.

• Arrive with enough time: Allow extra time for security checks and the Time Capsule before your Flyer ride. If your ticket has a reserved time, the operator asks guests to reach the boarding entrance at least 30 minutes before the flight.
• Plan for the full ride: A standard ticket includes one 30-minute rotation in a shared capsule. The wheel may be slowed or stopped for safety or operational reasons, so plan your schedule with some extra time.
• Do not bring food into the attraction: Food and drinks cannot be consumed inside the attractions unless they have been specially permitted or arranged with the operator.
• Check the ticket rules before booking: Singapore Flyer tickets are generally non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-extendable and non-transferable. Exceptions may be considered by the operator in certain circumstances.
• Plan ahead if you use a wheelchair: Each capsule can accommodate up to five wheelchairs and 15 other visitors. Staff can stop the wheel to help wheelchair users board safely. For group bookings, contact the Singapore Flyer in advance so the team can prepare the capsule.
• Keep large bags at the security counter: Large or bulky baggage is not allowed inside the attractions. Store these items at the Security Counter before entry.

• Esplanade (Theatres on the Bay): Esplanade is a distinctive waterfront building known for its durian-like design. It is a major performing arts centre beside Marina Bay. 
• Merlion Park: Here, visitors can visit Singapore's famous half-lion, half-fish statue and take photos with Marina Bay in the background. The Merlion stands 8.6 metres tall and faces the bay.
• Sentosa: If you have more time in your itinerary, continue to Sentosa Island for beaches, attractions and family activities. It is farther from the Singapore Flyer than the Marina Bay sights, so plan it as a separate part of your day rather than a quick stop.
