About the Ground Zero Monument
As mentioned before Ground Zero is a monument built to commemorate the tragedy of the Bali bomb on October 12, 2002. The tragedy killed 202 people from 22 countries 324 people suffered serious injuries. The monument exhibits the names and nationalities of those who were killed in the terror attack. There are 22 flagpoles arrayed near the stone that represent the 22 nationalities of people who lost their lives. There is a pool in front of the marble plaque. People come every year from different nations to commemorate the death of their beloved and pray for their souls.
