Getting In

Hoi An City doesn’t contain any Airports of its own. To reach Hoi An city, the only way is by road. The nearby airport and train station is in Da Nang, about 29 km to the North.

Getting Out

To get out of the city, you can take a bus to the airport. If you choose the train route, you want to take a bus to the Da Nang station and then to the International Airport.

Public Transport

There are bus routes from Hoi An to other cities. The first bus leaves Da Nang at 6:00 am and arrives in Hoi An at 07:30 am the same day. The earliest bus comes at 10:00 on the same day and departs at 9:30.

Taxi Facilities

In Hoi An city, there are two companies for Taxi service. One is Mai Linh (green): +84 (0) 235 3914 914 and the other is Faifoo (yellow): +84 (0) 235 3919 191. All the taxi’s employ meters. You can call for a taxi, hail one on the street, or head to locations where they congregate, such as the intersection of Le Loi and Tran Hung Dao.

Driving & Car rental

You can easily hire a car and driver to get a more intimate, off-the-beaten-path experience of Vietnam. It is not the cheapest option to rent a car because it is rather expensive.
