Hey everyone. I had booked my Vietnam tour with them and am glad i did. One of the best part was the way each and everything was communicated to me which included the requirements from my side as well as what exactly i was looking for in the trip. As and when the trip was getting close i was getting timely reminders and my queries were being addressed. Their aap is also super smooth and one can get all the updates wrt payments and documentation there itself. The price quotation was also great as i did compare with other travel sites as well. All in all a thumbs to them and definitely recommend.

  3. 3n Da Nang & Hoi An - Beaches, Lanterns & Culture

The 3N Da Nang & Hoi An Beaches Lanterns and Culture itinerary begins in Da Nang, where the captivating Ba Na Hills await just a short 2.6 km drive from the city center, at the comfortable Fivitel Da Nang Hotel. This trip blends sandy shores with a rich cultural backdrop, including a cable car ride offering spectacular views and visits to landmarks like the Golden Bridge. You’ll also discover Hoi An's charming canals and lantern-lit streets, making this more than just a beach holiday — it’s a chance to experience Vietnam’s coastal spirit paired with local traditions and architectural beauty. This itinerary’s unique pacing allows enjoyment of both relaxation and vibrant cultural exploration without rush.

Cable Car Adventures and Scenic Views at Ba Na Hills

Morning starts early with a shared transfer from your hotel lobby around 7:30 a.m., whisking you up to Ba Na Hills via what is considered the most modern cable car in Southeast Asia. The ride treats you to expansive views of Da Nang's coastal cityscape and the H?i Vân Pass.

At Ba Na Hills, the Golden Bridge is the star attraction — a pedestrian bridge supported by enormous stone hands, earning recognition in international media such as the British Guardian newspaper. Nearby, visitors find the tranquil Linh Ung Pagoda and the French Village, a quaint replica of a European town where you can listen to street music or watch traditional carnival performances. The day's itinerary offers a buffet lunch and time for exploration of Fantasy Park, an amusement complex with over 90 games and attractions including 5D cinemas and adventure rides. The tour concludes by 5:00 p.m. with a return to your hotel.

Hoi An's Timeless Charm Beyond the Beaches

Hoi An is known for its preserved Ancient Town, with architecture that reflects influences from Chinese, French, Vietnamese, and Japanese periods. The Japanese Covered Bridge, built centuries ago, offers a glimpse into the city's multicultural history.

Evenings here reveal the lantern-lit streets, where local shops display colorful lanterns that illuminate the canals. Wandering these streets offers a slow-paced cultural immersion contrasted with the more active day at Ba Na Hills. The Hoi An Beach Resort offers a restful stay about 4.5 km from the city center, ideal for unwinding by the shore after days filled with sightseeing.

Practical Stays: Hotels That Balance Comfort and Location

HotelCityStar RatingDistance from City Center (km)Notable Amenities
Fivitel Da NangDa Nang4.02.62Fitness center, sauna, outdoor pool, spa, massage
Hoi An Beach ResortHoi An4.04.50Complimentary coffee/tea, TV, slippers, separate living room

The proximity of Fivitel Da Nang means a quick transfer to activities like Ba Na Hills, while Hoi An Beach Resort offers a seaside retreat a short drive from the Ancient Town. Guests appreciate attentive staff and a variety of amenities that cater to both leisure and business needs.

Evening Rituals: Lantern-lit Walks and Cultural Insight

As night falls in Hoi An, the city's quaint streets come alive with glowing lanterns hung above canals and walkways, creating an atmosphere that invites leisurely strolls and photography opportunities. These evenings highlight the cultural richness absent from typical beachside holidays.

Local vendors offer traditional snacks and souvenirs, engaging visitors in communal experiences. This cultural facet is a deliberate contrast to the daytime’s active excursions, allowing relaxation and reflection under soft light.

Logistics and Timing: Making the Most of Your Short Stay

  • Early starts such as the 7:30 a.m. hotel pickup for Ba Na Hills ensure you avoid midday crowds.
  • The shared nature of the Ba Na Hills tour requires some flexibility with timing but includes numerous stops that maximize sightseeing.
  • Distance between hotels and city centers means short transfers; expect approximately 10 minutes from Fivitel Da Nang to central Da Nang attractions.
  • Plan for some walking during Ancient Town visits in Hoi An; the area is pedestrian-friendly but cobblestones require comfortable footwear.
  • Evenings are best reserved for lantern viewing and relaxed exploration with no time pressure.

What Travelers Should Know Before Booking

This 3N Da Nang & Hoi An Beaches Lanterns and Culture itinerary is best suited to travelers looking for a combination of beach time and cultural discovery within a brief stay. The shared Ba Na Hills tour offers excellent value but does not provide private transport, so expect some group coordination.

The resort in Hoi An is a bit outside the city center (4.5 km), so transportation to Ancient Town will require taxis or hotel shuttle arrangements. Also, while the itinerary’s pace is moderate, those seeking a purely beach-focused holiday might find the cultural segments more engaging than relaxing.

The 3N Da Nang & Hoi An Beaches Lanterns and Culture itinerary stands out for integrating the scenic and cultural richness of central Vietnam within a concise timeframe. From an invigorating cable car ride and the iconic Golden Bridge to the peaceful lantern-lit evenings of Hoi An’s Ancient Town, the trip offers varied experiences without overwhelming the traveler. Despite the slight distance of accommodations from city centers and the shared nature of some tours, the thoughtful pacing balances activity with downtime, letting you appreciate Vietnam's coastal beauty and historical charm in one well-rounded package.

Well-organized Vietnam tour with great service We had a wonderful experience on our Vietnam tour. Transportation, hotel arrangements, and overall coordination were excellent. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help, making the trip smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. One suggestion for improvement , when we travelled from Hanoi to Da nag the flight time and hotel check in time has a gap of 5 hours. Next time please plan the flight and hotel check in time correctly. So your customer will not suffer during the trip. Apart from this, everything else was excellent. Thank you to the entire team for organizing such a memorable and enjoyable trip. I would be happy to recommend your services to others.

(4/5) We recently booked our Vietnam trip through PickYourTrail, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, airport transfers were seamless, and all the activities were well organized. Their support team was responsive whenever we needed assistance, making the trip smooth and stress-free. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hotel provided in Ho Chi Minh City didn't meet our expectations. Compared to the other hotels during our trip, it felt below the standard we were expecting and could definitely have been better. Apart from that, everything else was well managed, and we had an amazing time exploring Vietnam. I would happily recommend PickYourTrail to anyone looking for a well-planned international vacation and would consider booking with them again.

Hi, We had a wonderful experience on our Vietnam tour. The itinerary was well planned, covering all the major attractions without feeling rushed. Transportation, hotel arrangements, and overall coordination were excellent. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help, making the trip smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. One suggestion for improvement where we stayed on the last day. The check-in experience could have been more welcoming, as the staff's attitude felt less courteous than at the other hotels. Additionally, the atmosphere in the hotel did not feel ideal for a family tour group. Choosing a more family-oriented hotel for future tours would further enhance the overall experience. Apart from this, everything else was excellent
