Hey everyone. I had booked my Vietnam tour with them and am glad i did. One of the best part was the way each and everything was communicated to me which included the requirements from my side as well as what exactly i was looking for in the trip. As and when the trip was getting close i was getting timely reminders and my queries were being addressed. Their aap is also super smooth and one can get all the updates wrt payments and documentation there itself. The price quotation was also great as i did compare with other travel sites as well. All in all a thumbs to them and definitely recommend.

Starting just under 3 km from Da Nang city center, the 3-star Sepon Blue Hotel offers a comfortable base with quick access to the coastal city's sandy beaches. This 6N Da Nang Hanoi Sapa Journey from Beaches to Mountains showcases Vietnam’s diverse landscapes, blending relaxed seaside stops, the rich culture of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and active mountain trekking in Sa Pa. Travelers get to experience Ba Na Hills' cable car rides, vibrant markets in Hanoi, and the rugged Muong Hoa Valley, creating a varied leisure trip that balances sightseeing with physical activity.
Explore Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge near Da Nang
The Ba Na Hills tour begins early, with a 7:30 a.m. pickup from your hotel to enjoy the most modern cable car in Southeast Asia. The ride offers aerial views of Da Nang’s coastline before reaching iconic sights like the Golden Bridge, known for its intriguing design supported by stone hands (a highlight for many visitors).
Other attractions include the French Village with street music and art installations, and the vibrant Fantasy Park, where guests can try more than 90 games and rides. A buffet lunch is included, and the full day tour ends around 5:00 p.m. after returning to the cable car terminal. The trip offers a perfect mix of natural and cultural experiences, with a late afternoon return allowing some downtime.
Cultural immersion in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and beyond
In Hanoi, the itinerary includes a trip to Ninh Binh’s Hoa Lu and Trang An. Starting early morning, guests visit Vietnam's ancient capital Hoa Lu, cycling around local villages to glimpse traditional life. Lunch features a buffet with local dishes like goat meat and spring rolls, including vegetarian options.
The afternoon boat trip through Trang An’s UNESCO-designated cave system offers a peaceful contrast to Hanoi’s lively streets. Back in the city, your accommodation at Hanoi Little Town Hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to Dong Xuan Market and Hang Ma Street, perfect for exploring on foot. Note that the hotel is about 3.95 km from the city center, so consider transport when planning your evenings.
Trek through scenic villages and rice terraces in Sa Pa
Sa Pa presents a different side of Vietnam, focusing on active exploration amid mountain landscapes. The 2-day trek covers villages like Cat Cat, home to Black H’mong people, with waterfalls and valley views along the way. Trekking distances are moderate, about 2.5 km on day one and 9 km on day two, making it accessible for those with reasonable fitness.
You’ll also visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, inhabited by Tay and Dzay ethnic groups, trekking along Muong Hoa Stream and terraced rice fields. Although the hotel is close to Sa Pa center (about 1.3 km), the trekking requires good footwear and readiness for some uphill walking. This part of the trip is ideal for travelers eager to connect with local cultures while enjoying fine, rugged scenery.
Balancing city life and natural beauty across Vietnam’s regions
This itinerary’s standout feature is its blend of urban and natural environments. From the sandy beaches of Da Nang to the energetic street markets of Hanoi and the terraced mountains around Sa Pa, travelers engage with very different settings within 6 nights.
The pace is moderately active: there’s walking and cycling around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, boat rides through caves, and several hours of trekking in mountain villages. However, the inclusion of scenic cable car rides and comfortable hotel stays ensures relaxation opportunities. The careful balance suits those seeking a leisure trip that incorporates culture and light adventure.
Accommodation and accessibility details for smooth travel
- Da Nang: Sepon Blue Hotel, 3-star, approx. 2.8 km from city center, offering easy access to beaches and cable car pickup points.
- Hanoi: Hanoi Little Town Hotel, 3-star, located within a 5-minute walk of Dong Xuan Market but 3.95 km from city center, providing a central base with complimentary breakfast and shuttle service (surcharge) to beach/ shopping centers.
- Sa Pa: Golden Town Hotel in the city center, 3-star, close to trekking start points; offers free Wi-Fi and 24-hour services.
Travel between cities involves private cars, including a 2-day, 1-night transfer to Sa Pa with stops for breaks and meals (self-pay). This arrangement offers convenience but requires readiness for some time spent on the road.
Practical notes and limitations for travelers on this journey
While this itinerary covers rich experiences, it requires active participation and readiness for early start times, particularly for Ba Na Hills (7:30 a.m. pickup) and the Ninh Binh day trip. The trekking portions involve uneven terrain and distances up to 9 km, which might challenge those less mobile.
Some days include shared tours, such as the Ba Na Hills group transfer, which travelers should be comfortable with. Hotel locations sometimes sit a few kilometers from main city centers, adding short commutes. These factors are important to consider for those prioritizing convenience or preferring a slower pace.
Despite these considerations, the varied activities and accommodations provide a fulfilling way to experience Vietnam’s coastal, urban, and mountain highlights in one itinerary.
The 6N Da Nang Hanoi Sapa Journey from Beaches to Mountains showcases Vietnam’s diverse appeal through a leisure-focused itinerary that combines beach relaxation, cultural discovery, and mountain trekking. Staying at well-situated 3-star hotels like Sepon Blue and Golden Town enhances comfort, while excursions such as the Ba Na Hills cable car and Sapa village treks make for engaging day trips. Though some shared transfers and modest walking demands exist, the itinerary is well-balanced for travelers seeking a varied yet manageable adventure across Vietnam’s distinct regions.

Well-organized Vietnam tour with great service We had a wonderful experience on our Vietnam tour. Transportation, hotel arrangements, and overall coordination were excellent. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help, making the trip smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. One suggestion for improvement , when we travelled from Hanoi to Da nag the flight time and hotel check in time has a gap of 5 hours. Next time please plan the flight and hotel check in time correctly. So your customer will not suffer during the trip. Apart from this, everything else was excellent. Thank you to the entire team for organizing such a memorable and enjoyable trip. I would be happy to recommend your services to others.

(4/5) We recently booked our Vietnam trip through PickYourTrail, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, airport transfers were seamless, and all the activities were well organized. Their support team was responsive whenever we needed assistance, making the trip smooth and stress-free. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hotel provided in Ho Chi Minh City didn't meet our expectations. Compared to the other hotels during our trip, it felt below the standard we were expecting and could definitely have been better. Apart from that, everything else was well managed, and we had an amazing time exploring Vietnam. I would happily recommend PickYourTrail to anyone looking for a well-planned international vacation and would consider booking with them again.

Hi, We had a wonderful experience on our Vietnam tour. The itinerary was well planned, covering all the major attractions without feeling rushed. Transportation, hotel arrangements, and overall coordination were excellent. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help, making the trip smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. One suggestion for improvement where we stayed on the last day. The check-in experience could have been more welcoming, as the staff's attitude felt less courteous than at the other hotels. Additionally, the atmosphere in the hotel did not feel ideal for a family tour group. Choosing a more family-oriented hotel for future tours would further enhance the overall experience. Apart from this, everything else was excellent
