Vietnam Budget Itinerary: 13 Nights 14 Days

Embarking on a 14-day adventure through Vietnam is like stepping into a vibrant tapestry woven with history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the serene waters of Halong Bay, each destination unfolds a unique story waiting to be experienced. As you traverse this beautiful country, expect to savor delicious street food, explore ancient towns, and engage with the warm-hearted locals.

Highlights of the Destination

  • Hanoi: The heart of Vietnam, where the chaotic yet charming Old Quarter buzzes with life, offering a wealth of street food and historical sites to explore.
  • Halong Bay: Famous for its emerald waters and thousands of limestone islands, Halong Bay is a paradise for boat tours and kayaking adventures.
  • Ho Chi Minh City: A bustling metropolis where history intertwines with modernity, featuring colonial architecture and vibrant markets that showcase the city's energy.
  • Hoi An: A UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, where lantern-lit streets and rich cultural heritage come alive at night.

Travel Tips for Vietnam

  • Local Currency: Ensure you have Vietnamese Dong for street vendors and small purchases, as not all places accept credit cards.
  • Dress Appropriately: When visiting temples, wear modest clothing to respect local customs; a light scarf can be handy for covering shoulders.
  • Transportation: Use Grab, a local rideshare app, for quick and affordable rides around cities, or opt for traditional taxis.
  • Learn Basic Vietnamese Phrases: A few words can go a long way in connecting with locals and enhancing your travel experience.

Conclusion

Your 14-day journey through Vietnam promises to be an unforgettable blend of adventure, culture, and culinary delights. As you immerse yourself in the rhythm of daily life, take the time to soak in the beauty of each destination and create memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it’s sipping coffee in a Hanoi café or releasing lanterns in Hoi An, every moment is an opportunity to connect with this incredible country.

Planned a trip with PYT to Vietnam.. the beauty of PYT is you can customise each part of your trip, the flights, the days, the stay, the places you wanna see and it's order. And then they cover you throughout the trip.. with a 24*7 customer care chat open with prompt replies.. so you r rest assured that you have someone backing you up throughout.. and the hotels they have chosen for me has never disappointed me.. Ho chi Minh stay had a Jacuzzi, Danang stay was a beach front, and the hanoi was in the centre of Old quarters.. I couldn't have chosen it better. Three trips as yet and they haven't disappointed till now.. hoping to go again with you guys.. thank you

Had booked an international trip for Vietnam and Malaysia through Pickyourtrial. I was contacted by one Rishika Rao L who helped me create customised itinerary, as what I was looking for was not present by default in the app. She provided the itinerary along with the names of the contacts in Vietnam and Malaysia. Though sceptical at first with Pickyourtrial, the trip was really smooth and enjoyable. It was hassle free as everything was arranged as per the itinerary and the contacts were very prompt in chucking on us for either transport or any activities mentioned in the itinerary. They also helped us with Visas, which was granted to us without any fuss.
