From Rotorua, there are regular modes of transportation to the cities of New Castle, Sydney, Wollongong, Gold Coast, Logan City, Brisbane, and Canberra.

Public Transport in Rotorua

The bus service system in Rotorua is limited. They are all painted in Lime Green and are branded CityRide. The standard fare in these buses is $2.50 regardless of the distance of travel. They operate till 6 pm from Monday till Saturday and during the Sundays, they stop the services at 4 pm. Get a CityRide Card if you are planning to get around in bus often.
