It was her birthday on that weekend and two days before the big day, I was running out of time and ideas to surprise her. This clouded my mind, and suddenly an idea popped in. Fortunately, the weather was too good that we literally stopped at every single scenic location on our way and took amazing pictures. Beautiful hills, mango and cashew trees, lovely weather and serene landscapes, the travel was just beautiful.

Mango Hills was a perfectly gracious Indian hotel with an obvious French touch. We never had the fear of the virus spread when we were at the property. The rooms and public areas were so clean and proper sanitisation was done at regular intervals.

The birthday eve!

As I informed the Pickyourtrail team about my sister’s birthday during the time of booking, a delicious birthday cake was arranged by them. On the next day, we went to the beach and had a blissful time. My sister was on cloud nine throughout the trip! What else can make a brother happier than this?

We have experienced great adventures together over all these years. But this journey was something out of the world! We don’t live under the same roof anymore, but our staycation to Pondicherry brought back all the nostalgic times in front of us. She is my mirror, shining back at me with a world of possibilities.
