Air Mauritius Introduces Direct Flights from Chennai Starting From April 13

Good news for all travellers, as travelling to Mauritius from Chennai gets easier. Get ready to pack your bags, book Mauritius tour packages and visit the thrilling land of Mauritius as Air Mauritius launches direct flights from Chennai. The flight will take off every Saturday, with the carrier named Airbus A330 having 254 seats. The journey will take about 5 to 6 hours from Chennai International Airport in India to SSR International Airport in Mauritius.

The timings of the flights will follow and may vary 

• From Chennai to Mauritius: 03:35 to 07:50
• From Mauritius to Chennai: 18:30 to 01:50, which will start on April 12, 2024

Laurent Recoura, who is Officer in Charge of Air Mauritius, said he’s very happy to restart flights from Chennai and even talked about the strong relations between both places. Whereas the director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, Arvind Bundhun, praised the new flight decisions and said it’s a great step in making it easier for people from southern India to visit Mauritius, thanking Air Mauritius for making it happen.
