• Connectivity: Buy a local SIM at the airport (Telkomsel or XL Axiata are the most reliable). A tourist SIM with 10 GB of data typically costs IDR 100,000 to 150,000. Alternatively, an eSIM from providers like Airalo can be activated before you land. 
• Temple etiquette: Sarongs and temple sashes are required at all Hindu temples. Most temples provide these for a small donation at the entrance. Shoulders should be covered.
