Four nights is a comfortable length for a first trip to Azerbaijan, and most of it centres on Baku. Spend a day in Icherisheher, the walled Old City, with the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, then walk the Caspian seafront boulevard and see the Flame Towers lit up after dark. The Heydar Aliyev Centre is worth a stop for its architecture alone. A second day usually goes south to Gobustan for its ancient rock carvings and the mud volcanoes, and a third to the Absheron peninsula for the Ateshgah fire temple and Yanar Dag, the hillside that burns continuously. With the day that remains, you can either take a long day trip to Gabala in the Caucasus foothills or split the stay as two nights in Baku and two in Gabala.
April to June and September to October are the most pleasant months for sightseeing. Winter is the time for snow at Shahdag and Gabala's Tufandag resort.
Indian travellers need an e-visa, which is applied for online through the official ASAN portal and is normally issued within three working days. This 5 day trip suits couples, friends and families who want a short international break with an easy visa.

We went on a trip to Azerbaijan.. All the arrangements were perfect ... The transfers were all made on time. The team could have taken care about the opening of the Lavender field .. We missed it as it was closed due to off season . On the whole we enjoyed the trip !
