Six nights give you enough time to experience Azerbaijan beyond Baku, from the country's historic towns to the landscapes of the Greater Caucasus. A well-planned Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package can combine Baku with Sheki, Gabala and Lahij, or take you north towards Guba and its mountain villages.
With 10+ years of travel expertise and strong destination knowledge, Pickyourtrail helps you choose the right route, stays and experiences for your Azerbaijan holiday. Whether you want to explore old towns, mountain landscapes, local culture or Baku's modern side, you can customise your Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package around your interests, pace and budget.
Azerbaijan Tour Package 6 Nights 7 Days
Your Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package should fit your holiday, not the other way around. With Pickyourtrail, you can build your trip around the route, hotels, experiences and pace you prefer, while the key travel details are taken care of. A typical Azerbaijan package can include:
- Handpicked hotels in Baku, a heritage-style stay in Sheki and a resort in Gabala or Shahdag
- Airport transfers for a smooth arrival and departure
- A private car and driver for the full regional circuit
- Sightseeing and experiences such as Sheki Khan's Palace, Kish church, the Tufandag cable car and Gobustan
- Customisable itineraries so you can add, remove or change experiences based on your interests
- 24/7 trip assistance for support before and during your holiday
Best Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Itineraries
Six nights give you enough flexibility to explore Baku and add one or two destinations in the Caucasus. Here are some of the best Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package options:
- Baku, Sheki & Gabala: Spend four nights in Baku, one in Sheki and one in Gabala. This classic route combines the capital's modern landmarks with Sheki's Silk Road heritage and Gabala's mountain scenery.
- Baku, Guba & Shahdag: Spend four nights in Baku, one night around Guba and one at Shahdag. Explore the Candy Cane Mountains and the highland village of Khinalig before heading into the mountains for a resort stay and outdoor experiences.
- Baku & Gabala: Spend four nights in Baku and two in Gabala for a slower-paced holiday. With more free time in both destinations, this option works particularly well for families and senior travellers who prefer fewer hotel changes and shorter sightseeing days.
Sample 6 Nights 7 Days Azerbaijan Itinerary
An Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package works best when the long drive is done once, with the return broken into shorter legs. Here's a sample Baku, Sheki and Gabala itinerary to show how the days can come together.
Day 1: Arrival in Baku
Arrive in Baku, meet your airport transfer and check into your hotel. Take an easy evening walk on Baku Boulevard.
Day 2: Baku City Tour
Spend the morning in the Old City with a guide, visiting the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. Continue to the Carpet Museum and the Heydar Aliyev Centre, and end the day at Highland Park.
Day 3: Gobustan and Absheron
Visit the Gobustan rock art reserve and the mud volcanoes in the morning. After lunch, see the Ateshgah Fire Temple and Yanardag on the Absheron Peninsula.
Day 4: Baku to Sheki
This is the longest drive of the trip, around five hours plus stops. Break it up at the Juma Mosque in Shamakhi and for lunch on the way, reaching Sheki by evening.
Day 5: Sheki and on to Gabala
See the stained-glass shebeke windows of the Sheki Khan's Palace, the old caravanserai and the Albanian church in Kish village. Taste Sheki halva before the drive of under two hours to Gabala.
Day 6: Gabala to Baku
Ride the Tufandag cable car and stop at Nohur Lake in the morning, then drive back to Baku for a farewell dinner near Fountain Square.
Day 7: Departure
Enjoy breakfast and some last shopping at the Taza Bazaar before your transfer to the airport. Prefer the north? Replace Days 4 to 6 with Guba, Khinalig and a night at Shahdag.
What Can You Cover in an Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package?
An Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package can cover Baku and one full regional circuit. Here's what you can comfortably experience:
- Baku: The Old City, Flame Towers, Heydar Aliyev Centre, Carpet Museum, Baku Boulevard and the city's markets.
- Gobustan & Absheron: Rock carvings, mud volcanoes, Ateshgah Fire Temple and Yanardag.
- Sheki: The UNESCO-listed historic centre with the Khan's Palace, the caravanserai, Kish church and local halva shops.
- Gabala: Tufandag cable car, Nohur Lake, Yeddi Gozel waterfall and forest resorts.
- Guba & Khinalig: Apple orchards, the Qechresh forest and one of the highest villages in the Caucasus, as an alternative circuit.
Tip: Pick either the north-west (Sheki and Gabala) or the north (Guba and Shahdag). The two regions are not linked by a direct mountain road, so combining them means returning through Baku and losing a day to driving.
Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package Price
Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package with Pickyourtrail starts from ₹38,282 per person. Actual pricing shifts based on a few variables:
- Hotel tier: Baku offers everything from simple 3-star hotels to international 5-star brands. Choice is narrower in Sheki, so good rooms there sell out early.
- Number of bases: Each extra stop adds private car days, which is one of the higher costs on a week-long circuit.
- 4x4 excursions: A trip up to Khinalig needs a suitable vehicle and is priced separately from standard transfers.
- Season: Summer and the winter ski weeks cost more; April, May, October and early November are usually easier on the budget.
What's Included in an Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package?
An Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package can include the key essentials for a smooth week, with inclusions depending on your chosen itinerary. Typically, you can expect:
- 6 nights of hotel stay across Baku and your chosen regional stops
- Airport transfers for arrival and departure
- Sightseeing, entry tickets and activities listed in your selected itinerary
- Daily breakfast, with select meals included in some packages
- 24/7 on-trip assistance for support whenever you need it
International flights, the Azerbaijan e-visa, travel insurance, and personal expenses are usually separate unless specifically mentioned in your package. Always check the inclusions and exclusions before booking.
Are 6 Nights Enough for an Azerbaijan Trip?
Yes, and for many travellers it is more than enough. Six nights would feel long if you stayed only in Baku, but it is the right length for Baku plus Sheki and Gabala, or Baku plus Guba and Shahdag.
Best Time for an Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package
The best time depends on how much of the week you spend in the mountains.
- April to June: The best all-round window. Roads are clear, the hills are green, and Sheki's gardens are in bloom.
- July to August: Hot on the coast but pleasant in Sheki, Gabala and Guba. A good time for Khinalig, which sits above 2,000 metres.
- September to October: Harvest season, with pomegranates, apples and autumn forests.
- November to March: Snow in the highlands and skiing at Shahdag and Tufandag. The road to Khinalig can close after heavy snowfall, and daylight is short for a regional circuit.
If your dates are flexible, May to June and September to October are reliable choices for a full week, while winter trips are better built around Baku and one ski resort.
An Azerbaijan 6 Nights 7 Days Package for Every Traveller
- Old-City and History Lovers: Baku's walled city and Sheki's palace and caravanserai give you two very different historic centres in one trip.
- Mountain Lovers: An Azerbaijan adventure tour package can add the drive to Khinalig, hikes near Guba or ski days at Shahdag.
- Couples: An Azerbaijan honeymoon package for 6 nights and 7 days leaves room for slow mornings, a resort stay in Gabala and a seafront dinner in Baku.
- Families and Senior Travellers: The 4 + 2 night Baku and Gabala plan avoids one-night stops and keeps each driving day manageable.

I recently went on a trip to Baku and Tbilisi with two friends, organized by Pickyourtrail, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. They managed everything from visas, transfers, tours and internal flight to accommodating our preference for staying in Airbnbs. I did face an issue with my visa during immigration in Baku, which required me to apply for an urgent visa on my own. Despite this challenge, everything went smoothly afterward, and the goodwill and support from Pickyourtrail were truly commendable. They consistently checked in to ensure everything was back on track, which I highly appreciated as a customer. The tour planning was seamless, and we had great drivers throughout the journey. A special mention to Mr. Fikrat in Baku, who was not only punctual but also incredibly considerate of our needs. We felt so comfortable with him that we could leave without needing to give any instructions. Our drivers in Tbilisi, Mr. Zako and Mr. Bando, were also excellent and ensured our journey was smooth and enjoyable. One suggestion for improvement: it would be helpful if the detailed itinerary could be shared a bit earlier, so we can review it and suggest any changes if needed. Overall, Pickyourtrail delivered an amazing experience, and we are already looking forward to planning our future trips with them for ourselves and our families. Thank you for the great trip and the wonderful support throughout!

We went on a trip to Azerbaijan.. All the arrangements were perfect ... The transfers were all made on time. The team could have taken care about the opening of the Lavender field .. We missed it as it was closed due to off season . On the whole we enjoyed the trip !
