• By Train: Taking a train from Colombo to Galle is one of the scenic ways to travel. Trains run frequently from Colombo Fort Railway Station and take about 2.5–3 hours. It’s also budget-friendly.
• By Bus: Government and private buses run regularly from Colombo to Galle. You can take an express bus via the Southern Motorway, which takes around 2–2.5 hours.
• By Taxi: One of the most comfortable ways to reach Galle is by taking a taxi or a private cab from Colombo. This is the most convenient option for a large group. Travel time is around 2–2.5 hours via the expressway.
